Danger
UVRP is a strict 18+ server. Any applications for anyone under 18 will be denied. You are welcome to reapply when you turn 18. Anyone found to be under 18 who lied about their age to get in will be removed from the community and may reapply when they turn 18.
Overview
Unfortunately, every city needs to have rules in place to guide players to the type of roleplay the city expects, and UVRP is no different. Rules exist not to punish or limit players but to ensure that all players have an enjoyable experience while in the city. If you find the roleplay here to be too serious then I promise, there are a million other servers out there and one of them will fit what you are looking for.

UVRP is not meant to be a server for everyone. We cater to a specific roleplay style, if that is not what you are looking for that is OK, there are thousands of other servers out there that may fit what you are looking for.

There is a lot of information in this guide. To make things simple we have broken things up in a modular way to make things easier to find. Please make sure that you read and review all sections of the Rules and Roleplay Overview.
UVRP Values
Roleplay
We expect all community members to roleplay to the highest possible standard and remain in character while in-game.
A person must act in the confines of the character they have created and are currently playing as, if you wish to switch characters you must log out of the server and log back in as your new character.
Respect & Diversity
All community members must be respectful at all times while in-city or on our community platforms. This means that users must never be involved with or publish any content that is deemed racist, homophobic, sexist, prejudiced, or disrespectful. We also forbid the sharing or publishing of any sexually explicit content on any of our community platforms.
Fun
UVRP strives to create a city where players can enjoy their time. This city and community are meant to be places that everyone can enjoy their off time. At the end of the day, this is a game and we want people to enjoy their time playing it.
How the rules are organized
Community Conduct: How every member is expected to treat other people in the city, in Discord and on every other UVRP platform.
Fair Play: Keeping the city fair: no outside information, no unrealistic advantages, no exploits or unfair modifications, and no disconnecting to escape a scene.
Roleplay Standards: What UVRP expects from your roleplay: staying in character, valuing your character's life, and the kinds of roleplay that need approval or are not allowed.
Crime Rules: Rules for criminal roleplay: when and where crime can happen and how many can take part, robberies, heists and hostages, and gunfights.
Gang Rules: How gangs form and earn recognition, how they handle conflict, and how the Gang Council oversees them.
Emergency Services: Rules for police and EMS, and for everyone who deals with them.
Business Rules: Buying, owning and running a business in UVRP.
Server Policies: Reporting a player, disputing a staff ruling, how discipline works, streaming, and store purchases.
